“Taste and smell of the first International Conference (Beijing)” (Beijing International Meeting on Research in Taste and Smell) scheduled for 15-17 November 2009 held in Beijing.
The meeting was chaired by Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Research Institute of Life Sciences, and the United States feel Monell Chemical Research Center, jointly sponsored and hosted. Life Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Beijing, animal researcher, Dr. Leisure Monell Chemical feeling and the United States Director of the Center, Dr. Gary Beauchamp, chief scientist of any co-chairs the General Assembly.
AAAS (AAAS) Chief Executive Officer (CEO), American Science and Art Academy of Sciences, “SCIENCE” magazine executive publisher Alan Leshner, Dr.; the United States Academy of Sciences, Florida University professor Dr. Linda Bartoshuk; U.S. Academy of Science, Arizona University professor John Dr. G. Hildebrand; Japan Kyushu (Kyushu), PhD, Professor Yuzo Ninomiya will be invited to make reports.
The General Assembly will include five topics: (1) chemical sensory receptor molecules; (2) chemical sensory nerve center of the mechanism; (3) Nutrition and chemical sense; (4) the regulation of behavior of chemical sense; (5) Chemical sense and clinical application.
China Chemosensory is a non profit research organization dedicated to the development of research into perception of chemicals and chemical research.
