The Beijing International Meeting on Research in Taste and Smell was held in Beijing, China on November 15-17, 2009.

The Monell Chemical Senses Center and the Chinese Academy of Sciences would like to thank all participants for making the first international meeting on the chemical senses a success. The meeting hosted a broad international community of chemosensory scientists, bringing over 150 attendees from 10 countries. This scientific meeting produced a stimulating exchange of research ideas and new projects that we hope will have a positive and long-lasting impact on chemosensory science in China.
